How it works
Ten to fourteen business days from a signed agreement to live orders leaving our dock. Here is every stage, what we do, and what we need from you — so you can see where your own time goes before you commit any of it.
Discovery call
Thirty minutes on the phone. We want your monthly order count, SKU count, average units per order, your packaging, your sales channels, and where your inventory sits today. If you have a month of order exports, send them — they tell us more than the conversation does.
What we need from you: order history, a SKU list with dimensions and weights, and an idea of your growth over the next year.
Written quote
You get per-order pricing with pick, pack, storage, receiving and postage priced as separate lines, modelled against your actual order profile rather than an average. If your orders are mostly single-unit, you see single-unit economics. We include the assumptions we made so you can challenge them.
What we need from you: an hour to read it properly, and any questions about lines that look wrong.
Agreement and account setup
A month-to-month agreement after an initial 90 days, no setup fee. We create your account, configure your SKUs, set your packaging rules and assign your account manager — who joins every call from this point on.
What we need from you: signature, billing contact, and confirmation of who on your side can authorise inventory decisions.
Integration and test orders
We connect your sales channels over API and push test orders end to end — order in, pick generated, label produced, tracking written back to your store. You watch a full order flow through before any stock moves.
What we need from you: admin access to your store platforms, or an hour with whoever has it.
Receiving your inventory
You book a receiving appointment and send your stock. We unload, count against your packing list, inspect for damage and report discrepancies the same day. Units are pickable within 48 hours of arrival, usually sooner.
What we need from you: a packing list that matches what is actually on the truck, and a booked appointment. Both of those matter more than they sound.
Go live
We switch your channels over — usually a Tuesday, so the first week has runway before the weekend. Your account manager watches the first hundred orders personally and calls you at the end of day one.
What we need from you: nothing, at this point. That is rather the idea.
The first month review
Thirty days in we go through what actually happened against what we quoted: order counts, storage consumed, error rate, carrier mix and where the money went. If the quote was wrong in either direction, we correct it here rather than letting it drift.
What we need from you: an hour, and honesty about anything that annoyed you.
What can slow this down
We would rather tell you now than explain it on day nine. In our experience onboarding runs past two weeks for one of these reasons, and all of them are avoidable.
- Inventory arriving without a packing list, or with counts that do not match it.
- A custom sales platform that needs a bespoke connection rather than an existing integration.
- Packaging that has not been ordered yet — mailers and inserts need to be here before you go live.
- Waiting on platform admin access from an agency or a former developer.
- Retail accounts whose routing guides we need to obtain and build against before the first purchase order.
